The witness confirms that he saw Marco's son Aurelhas “stick” a knife into Igor's body
Defense witnesses are expected to speak on behalf of the defendants this afternoon.
Today, Thursday, the seventh session of the trial for the murder of Igor Silva, a crime that occurred in May 2022, will be held.
This hearing should begin with a hearing from friend Igor Silva, who was also present at FC Porto's title celebrations. This witness is in Switzerland and has only now been located. She will be heard via video and will be the final witness in the prosecution.
A hearing will also be held on Thursday morning for several members of Igor Silva's family, called as witnesses by the young man's mother. Eight members of the young man's family will be heard.
Marco “Urelhas” and his son Renato are in court, as are the remaining defendants who were released.
The first witness to this session is Igor's friend and he states that Marco Aurelhas' friends “all fell over” the victim. Additionally, Igor argues in the trailer with women associated with the “Orelhas”.
He confirmed that “Igor said that he did not want problems with women.”
“We decided to leave. We went up to the corridor and I heard screaming. All I saw was Renato sticking the knife into Igor,” he said.
During the afternoon, everything indicates that the defense witnesses for the accused will begin to be heard.
