A BOLA – Investigation into the transfer order from Osorio to FC Porto (Tondela)

A new, large-scale intervention by the IRS in the scope of an out-of-game operation, this time Tondela became the target of the authorities’ attention. Tax inspectors spent most of the day at the club’s premises searching for documents “relating to the transfer of a player” and although the name of the footballer in question has not been disclosed by official entities, A BOLA has an indication that the transfer of Yordan Osorio from Tondela to FC Porto has been investigated. .

The Venezuelan center arrived at Dragão in the winter of 2018 on loan, but at the time of the agreement a mandatory purchase clause has been put in place that will be effectively activated by Porto players at the end of the same period. In their annual report for the financial year from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, FC Porto reported that the takeover value of the defender’s permit, now 27, was €1,969,522 million, despite the Musketeers. It owned 50 percent of the economic rights to the factory. Subsequently, on June 30, 2020, SAD FC Porto reported that they had acquired the remainder of the Osorio card for €1.5 million.

Jordan Osorio hasn’t established himself at FC Porto – he only played one official match – and went on loan to V. Guimaraes in early July 2018. Almost a year later, the Venezuelan defender moved to Zenit, and he still plays in the same way. On loan, he also ended up referring to a short stint in Russian football. Osorio has already left the orbit of FC Porto in the summer of 2020, when he signed with Parma on a permanent basis, generating a capital gain of 1,003.618 million euros, according to the consolidated annual report for the first half of 2020/21. The Venezuelan signed a contract with the Italian club until 2024.
