A BOLA – “I feel the team is on the way I want it to” (Vitoria de Guimarães)

Vitoria de Guimarães on Monday made his first official match against one of the two historic Portuguese footballers, Laixues and Pepa, and wants no surprises. The League Cup is a good indication of the active growth of the Conquerors, who are approaching the season with the clear goal of shortening the distances to neighboring SC Braga in the tournament and having a permanent say in other internal competitions.

“In these first official matches, both for the League and the League Cup, teams understand a little bit the dynamics of the opponents. The most important thing for us is Vitoria, our team, what depends on us and what we can control. We understand the value of the opponent, this is realistic, but the priority for us is Vitoria ”, warned the coach, who expects, in this area, the team to put into practice what they were working on during the pre-season.

“The team is doing well. There is no perfection but work in progress. Ideas are welcomed and well absorbed. There is effective growth, but we have a lot to keep growing. I feel the team is on the way I want it to. Of course there is a natural anxiety arising from the first official match, but Calm down what we can and should do,” he emphasized.
