The game, which was dubbed “Rainbow Six Quarantine”, was scheduled to release before April 2020, and was eventually delayed in late 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the nature of the game, Ubisoft changed the name of the game to “Rainbow Six Extraction” in June.
One game that Ubisoft hasn’t delayed (at least, for now) is Far Cry 6. The next entry into the wild universe is slated to see the light of day on October 7. Ubisoft probably didn’t want the now-delayed games to end up making some sort of impact on one of the year’s most successful games.
