Following its global critical and commercial success, the parasitic film written by Pong Jun-ho is set to be adapted into the series in the United States. What do we already know about this project?

Pong Jun-ho is a South Korean director whose cinematography is particularly interesting. Characterized by his ability to mix genres, his films have consistently won awards in South Korea and internationally. Pong Jun-ho, the father of parking dogs, but considered to be his first masterpiece in Memories of Murder, directed The Host and Snowpiece. Most recently, his Ojha film aired exclusively on Netflix and was even offered for competition in Cannes. His seventh film, Parasite, won the Palm D’O at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
When it was published in France, the press was frantic about the parasite. For 20 minutes, the film has everything it takes to become a cult film: “The parasite is so well packaged, we want to get there immediately”. Le Picaro confirms that the film presented in Cannes “did not steal its golden palm”. Le Telegram also praises the talent of the actors, “adding a lot of nuances and at least being tasty to say the least.” Premiere, a specialty magazine that published its review in Fifteen Days in Cannes, was already wondering if the parasite had gotten the hang of it because Bong Jun-ho had signed here as “a film that is really worrying enough.” The first parasitic feeling of this palm, the parasite got it well and turned the feature film article into theaters!
