A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with the murder of a police officer at Biskopsgaarden in Gothenburg, Sweden. Do not plead guilty.
The policeman moved into the poor town of Biskopsgaarden in Heisingen on Wednesday night with a colleague, where he was shot while standing and talking to some people.
The area has long been characterized by violence and gang crime.

The boy was arrested around 2pm and the police will now question him. He is accused of murder and attempted murder.
More than 200 people have been questioned in connection with the murder, and the police are receiving an increasingly clear picture of the process.
We’re a little relieved that we’ve come this far in such a short time, regional police chief Claes Johansson says at a press conference on Friday afternoon.
The 17-year-old is a resident of Biskopsgaarden and is arguably part of a “conflict environment,” according to police attorney Ulrika Oberg.
Police do not rule out more arrests in the next few days.
Police earlier said they believed the policeman was accidentally killed.

Police across Sweden have contributed to the investigation.
– We have received great support from the police all over Sweden, and everyone wants to help us. We have received the help we asked for. “We’ve also received great support from other authorities,” says Police Chief Theodor Smedius.
Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said Thursday that he was appalled after the murder, but that they continue to fight organized crime.
We will never give up in the fight against organized crime. “I and all the Swedish people are proud of our police personnel,” said Löfven.
