Palmas expands Covid-19 vaccination for residents 52 or older – Grupo RBJ de Comunicação

The Palmas Health Department will begin vaccination against Covid-19 for the general population from the age of 52, on Friday (11).

Anyone, even if they do not have comorbidities, over 52 years of age can receive the first dose of the immunizing agent. The vaccination will take place at the Exhibition Center, from 8 am to 4 pm. And in the same place, the vaccination of teachers and school workers of 18 years and over continues. SUS card, CPF and vaccination card must be presented.

The Secretariat also continues to vaccinate for priority groups, from 18 to 59 years, in the central health unit, from 8 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm. These groups include: pregnant and postpartum women with comorbidities, people with comorbidities, people with Down syndrome, people with permanent disabilities, social workers, biologists, biomedical doctors, physical educators, nurses, pharmacists, and physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, veterinarians, dieticians, dentists, psychologists, and occupational therapists. These professionals must provide evidence from the professional record to the chapter board.

Also receiving the vaccine, workers with activities in the collection of waste from the Health Services and oxygen delivery personnel who exchange valves and cylinders in the Health Services, and workers in companies that sterilize hospital materials. These professionals must submit a statement containing the activities carried out.
