There has been a dramatic end to the search for Lovisa “Kiki” Sjöberg (48) in Australia's Snowy Mountains.
After being missing for two weeks, she was found injured on Sunday afternoon on the Noongar Creek Track in Kiandra, according to the British Daily Mail. The Guardian.
Police in New South Wales said a national park employee discovered Sjoberg at about 16:50 local time.
I've never seen anything like it
– Very dangerous
Police believe Sjoberg, who works as a photographer, was bitten by a venomous copperhead snake four days ago.
– The venom produced by this snake is very dangerous and can be fatal if not treated, says a police spokesman.
Ambulance personnel treated Sjoberg at the scene for, among other things, a suspected snake bite, before transporting her to a nearby hospital.
Police say her condition is stable.

The search began on Monday, October 21, after the 48-year-old was last seen driving a gray SUV in Kosciuszko National Park.
– We thank everyone who participated in the extensive search operation, say the police, who received assistance from dog patrols, civil defense and the fire service when they were searching for the 48-year-old man.
