The iPhone 16 was launched just over a month ago, but the technology market isn't stopping. Therefore, we already have several rumors that give us an idea of what to expect from its successor, the iPhone 17.
Now, we have another rumor about this equipment that will delight photography lovers. This is because, apparently, Apple will be investing more in this department than the iPhone 17 Pro.
The iPhone 17 Pro will have a 48-megapixel telephoto camera
Information provided by analyst Jeff Poe. According to the data he was able to collect, the iPhone 17 Pro will have a new 48-megapixel telephoto camera.
Unfortunately, he did not specify what we can expect from this new camera in terms of zoom. However, it is natural to speculate that it will have better capabilities in this department than the iPhone 16 Pro.
The latter has a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x zoom. With this upgrade in sensor resolution, at least better quality of images captured with this camera is guaranteed.
But the news in the iPhone 17 photography sector does not stop there. The same source indicates that Apple will include a new 24-megapixel front camera. Essentially, doubling the accuracy of existing models.
This data shows Apple's commitment to enhancing the photography capabilities of its smartphones. This will remain a bet by the company in the hope of attracting more users.
Moreover, analyst Jeff Pu confirms the launch of a new, thinner version of these smartphones. Its name has not yet been determined, with expectations divided between the iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 Slim.
In any case, the official presentation will not take place until September next year. Until then, there will still be a lot to talk about these devices and it is likely that some details will change as the company progresses in developing the iPhone 17.
