Enjoy your time at the Portuguese style Oktoberfest with free admission. Find out where – Food

The spirit of Oktoberfest, the famous German folk festival dedicated to beer, arrives in Algeria from October 3 to 6, and you can count on plenty of entertainment, music, typical German food and of course beer at the Algiers market.

node Beerfest, the event that results from In partnership with national beer brand Super Bock, you'll be able to sample gastronomic offerings such as pork with sauerkraut and roast potatoes, and German sausage with potato salad, Chicken Brauer with mash, Flammkuchen, Kasspatzel and the typical pretzel. There are also vegetarian and vegan options, and for those with a sweet tooth, Lebkuchen (heart cake) or the Apple of Love can be served. And of course, lots of beer.

During the four days of the event, anyone passing by the market will have the opportunity to taste the delicious German dishes on offer. Every day from 5 p.m. onwards, Uzápresso will play wonderful pieces of national and international music several times.

But the fun doesn't stop there. You can also take part in typical Oktoberfest games like “Aguenta a Caneca”, “Funky Chicken Dance”, “Acerta na Garrafa” or “Brindes Dal Gibeira”, all with a taste of Super Bock, the official beer of the event.

Admission is free during the four days of the event. Oktoberfest takes place at the Algiers Market (open from 12pm to midnight on Thursdays and Sundays, and at 2am on Fridays and Saturdays) between October 3 and 6.
