Karianne Vilde Spetalen, 30, lost her dog to influenza. She shares the sad news in a longer post on Instagram.
Now they are married.
“Heaven has gained a new angel. The angel who was my best friend for 13 years. The best Chanel who found her way into the hearts of everyone she met. I have been dreading this day since the first time she lay on my chest for the first time which was in photo #7,” Spitalin writes.
Spetalen also writes that the dog is buried today in their cabin in Norefjell.
“The vets never found out what was wrong with you, and you were 15 minutes away from me before you fell asleep peacefully. You were never just a pet to me, but my best friend who was there through it all. You were a boss in Bygdøy and Norefjell, even with your little paws you left a big mark,” the influencer writes further and concludes:
“Rest in peace my very best friend. I love you forever and always, 08/17/11-09/13/24,” she writes, expressing that she will never forget the dog.
She shares the sad news just two weeks after she and her boyfriend Christian Spitalen, 30, tied the knot at a vineyard in Tuscany, Italy.
Since then, the couple have been on their honeymoon, including in Zanzibar. Now the honeymoon is over.
