Just before 02.10pm on Wednesday 21 August, a large police force was called to Westbury Road in England, following reports of a house fire.
This was reported by several international media outlets, including the Metro, the Independent and Manchester Evening Life.

I heard screams
Police found Briony Gawith, 29, and her three children at the home. The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while her children, Denesty, 9, Oscar, 5, and Aubrey, 1.5, were taken to hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
“This is a murder investigation,” a police spokesman told The Independent the same day.

He said police were certain the fire was started deliberately, adding that a 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is suspected of murder. In addition, a 54-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were arrested and charged with complicity.
Several neighbors heard the dramatic scenes that unfolded in the quiet neighborhood last Wednesday:
“I think the whole residential area woke up. There was fire coming out of the walls and you could hear screaming from a distance. I was scared,” one witness told The Independent.

The shocking news has caused grief and anger in the English community. Pictures of the family are circulating on social media, many of them in the comments section:
– This is so terrible. Poor little family. Who could do such a thing, write one on Facebook.
“My heart bleeds for these angels,” writes another.
Many residents have left teddy bears, flowers and balloons near the young family's home in recent days. Several Facebook groups have also been set up in honor of the victims – and in support of those left behind.
“Bryony was always so happy and full of life. She was an incredibly beautiful woman who cared about everything and everyone. Her children were her everything,” the family wrote in a statement on Facebook.
– We will never forget you or our three wonderful wizards, that goes on.
According to The Independent, the father of the three dead children, a man named Jonathan, said he was also devastated:
“Brianne was an amazing woman and a loving mother to our children. I loved them all and if I had the chance to take their place, I would,” he reportedly said in a statement.
6-year-old boy drowns in hotel pool
Several were arrested.
On Wednesday 28 August, exactly one week after the killing, West Yorkshire Police said in a press release that six people had been arrested and charged with attempted murder or conspiracy to murder.
“Our thoughts are with Briony’s relatives and children. This is an unimaginably tragic case,” Amanda McInnes tells Metro.
It also reported that two of the men accused of the murder will appear in court on Wednesday morning, and at the same time comes with a warning:
– We remind all concerned that criminal proceedings against the accused are still ongoing. It is extremely important not to share any information on social media that may prejudice the proceedings.
The police have not yet commented on the relationship between the killers and the deceased's family.
