More than 100 far-right riots expected

In Britain, more than 6,000 police officers have been called in to deal with the violent riots sweeping the country.

Car fires, extreme violence and attacks on both the mosque and hotels used to house asylum seekers.

On Wednesday evening, police are preparing for more than 100 far-right demonstrations, as well as 30 counter-demonstrations.

Police are bracing for riots in 41 of the 43 police areas in England and Wales. Most of the unrest is expected to be in the north-east and north-west of England, the report said. Sky News.

Just before 21:00 Norwegian time, several thousand anti-racism protesters took to the streets in several British cities.

Shortly afterwards, British media reported arrests in several cities.

They are protesting against racist anti-immigration demonstrations scheduled for tonight.

Several thousand police officers have been called in in anticipation of a violent escalation. In a number of cities, riot police are ready in front of shops, and riot police are ready everywhere.

– I saw them trying to kill people.

A judge in England ruled on Thursday last week to publish the name of the boy accused of killing Alice, 9, Bibi, 6, and Elsie, 7, and attempting to kill 10 people, even though he is a minor.

On the same day, Rudakopana, who will turn 18 in less than a week, was detained in a youth prison.

Rudakubana was born and raised in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, with Rwandan parents.

But before his identity was revealed, false information spread like wildfire on social media. In X, several thousand users decided that the perpetrator was an asylum seeker.

Although the police denied this, it sparked a wave of racially charged demonstrations across the UK.

Far-right protesters first took to the streets of Southport – the day after the attack, a mosque was attacked and attempted to be set alight in the small coastal town.

However, violence and unrest soon spread to large parts of Great Britain.

On Friday evening, a major riot broke out outside a police station in Sunderland.

“Throughout the evening, police officers were met with serious violence, which is completely unacceptable,” the police wrote in a statement.

On Sunday, two hotels housing asylum seekers were attacked.

Videos from Tamworth show far-right protesters setting fire to the hotel.

A hotel in Rotherham was also attacked. Police struggled to prevent around 700 protesters from entering the building.

– I witnessed the riots in London in 2011. I don't think they were that bad. A witness to the demonstration said: We saw them trying to kill people yesterday. CNN.
