News related to the Pixel 9 smartphone series continues to appear, and this time, it seems that Google wants to wink at users looking for “smart” tools to organize long calls.

Given the other AI-based features that Google already makes available on its Pixel smartphones, the ability to record calls and transcribe them into text is a capability that may please many users, especially in cases of long, very important, or even urgent calls.
Android Police states that Google continues to not confirm Call Notes and in which contexts and applications this functionality could be provided.
However, the site reminds us that call recording and transcription will be a feature built into iOS 18, which could speed up Google's process of providing a similar tool.
