WAtarina Miranda has received several accolades after her debut as host of the show “Somos Portugal” on Sunday afternoon, July 28.
“Catarina Miranda is incredible. It seems like she has been doing this for years”, “You were amazing” or “This is Catarina Miranda’s beach”, were some of the many comments posted on a post on TVI’s Instagram page.
However, there were also negative reactions. “Shame on TVI. He sent Santiago Lagoa away and before this convinced Miranda! TVI in the background”, could be read among the many messages.
Meanwhile, Catarina Miranda responded in the stories on her Instagram page to the hearings of Somos Portugal. The former Big Brother contestant said in the first video she posted on the social network, in which she appeared crying: “Grandma, I'm even crying. You don't know what happened. Somos Portugal was the leader.”
Shortly after, he spoke to his followers again and highlighted his happiness once again. “My teammates and the team welcomed me very well. The environment is excellent. Cantanhede welcomed me with open arms and I left there having accomplished my mission. As you know, I have no course in social media, but I am a very committed person, I always give my best and I always give 500,000 percent to any project I am part of.”
“I always want to be the best I can be, because I don't have any courses and it was my first time. At first I was a bit nervous,” she admitted.
Catarina Miranda later revealed that she would now “take courses with the best, because she wants to be the best possible version of a presenter.”
“Now I will have to try hard. […] I already have tips from many professionals who have watched it and sent them to me so I can improve. I will stick to that and do better next time. Now my life goal is to make “House of Secrets”. I'm kidding [risos]… I'm not kidding, I'm serious but I don't know how many years it will take. I'm going to work hard for it. Just to get back on a reality show, maybe as a host. It's a goal. I'm going to take every opportunity to make it happen one day.” Watch the video in the gallery.
In another post, he stressed that his first appearance on the show was “unforgettable” and that he “made a dream come true”, after once again thanking TVI and all his colleagues.
