Amazon announced that it set a new sales record for Prime Day, the July 16-17 event for all Prime-enabled customers. As noted, Prime Day 2024 was Amazon’s biggest shopping event yet, with record sales and more items sold during the two-day event than any previous Prime Day event.
With a wide range of discounted items, some even at their lowest prices of the year so far, “more Prime members shopped during the two-day shopping event than during Prime Day 2023. The savings opportunity meant a record number of customers signed up to Prime in the three weeks leading up to Prime Day, with millions of new members around the world,” the company explained in a statement.
 
Among the best-selling products in Portugal are: Finish dishwasher tablets, Oral-B electric toothbrush refills, Cecotec 6Lt air fryer, Dodot wipes, Ariel washing machine capsules, Dodot diapers, TP-Link security camera, Philips One Blade razor refills, insect bite and sting treatment device and Perspirex deodorant.
