Samsung Announces New Devices at Galaxy Unpacked 2024

Samsung unveiled a series of new devices during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event, including the advanced Galaxy Buds3 headphones and the Galaxy Watch7, in addition to updates to the popular Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 phones.

The new Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 feature a thinner and lighter design while maintaining the durability that has become a hallmark of the Galaxy Z line. The dual-hinge body and the use of reinforced materials such as Armor Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 24 give the devices superior resistance. Furthermore, the Z series is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which ensures high-quality performance and energy efficiency.

Both models are protected by Samsung Knox, providing robust real-time threat security and data protection. Samsung has also strengthened its commitment to sustainability, using a wider range of recycled materials, including glass, aluminum, plastics and rare earth elements, in device components. For the first time, recycled gold and copper have been used. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 come with 100% recycled packaging and offer seven generations of OS and security updates.

The new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 will be available for pre-order starting July 10, with an official launch scheduled for July 24. Prices start at €1,249.90 for the Galaxy Z Flip6 and €2,069.90 for the Galaxy Z Fold6. The Galaxy Z Fold6 will be offered in Silver, Pink and Midnight Blue, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 will be available in Silver, Yellow, Blue and Mint, with exclusive color options available for order online.
