The announcement indicates that The objective is to promote and support ideas for research, development, testing and implementation activities relevant to public administration entities.This is in the form of scientific research and technological development projects, at all stages, from exploratory activities to proofs of concept.
aHigher education institutions, government, affiliated and international laboratories based in Portugal and private non-profit institutions can apply for funding. Its main target is research and development activities, including collaborative laboratories (CoLab), centers of technology and innovation (CTI) and other public and private non-profit institutions that develop or participate in scientific research activities. Companies can also participate as long as they are included in IC&DT projects led by non-commercial entities in the R&D system.
The scope of proposals for the competition includes: Areas of AI and data science, digital service design and interaction design, from a multidisciplinary citizen-centric perspective, cybersecurity and AI governance.
