Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that there will be no safe place in Israel if a large-scale war breaks out between the two sides.

Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging fire on the Lebanese-Israeli border for months since the outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas on October 7.

In recent weeks, tensions have been rising, with the Israeli military announcing on Tuesday that it had approved plans to launch an attack in Lebanon, where Hezbollah is based.

– In a large-scale war, Hezbollah will be destroyed and Lebanon will be severely affected, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz signed X.

This happened after Hezbollah released a drone video showing civilian and military sites around the city of Haifa in Israel CNN.

Last week, a senior Hezbollah leader was killed in an Israeli attack.

– There is no safe place in Israel

In a televised speech on Wednesday, Nasrallah said Israel must prepare for land, sea and air attacks if war breaks out between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.

– He said that there will be no places in Israel safe from our missiles and drones if a large-scale war breaks out, adding that the group already has several goals in mind.

The Hezbollah leader also claimed that the Iran-backed group has more than 100,000 fighters and has obtained new weapons, without going into further details.

At the same time, Nasrallah threatened Cyprus, which has good relations with both Israel and Lebanon.

The Cypriot government must be warned that opening Cypriot airports and bases so that the Israeli enemy can attack Lebanon means that Cyprus has become part of the war, and that Hezbollah will deal with it as part of the war.

– Part of the solution, not the problem

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides denies that his country has chosen one side in the conflict.

– Cyprus is not part of the problem, but rather part of the solution. This role is evident, for example, in the humanitarian aid corridor, which has received recognition not only from the Arab world, but from the international community, Christodoulides says, referring to emergency aid shipments from Cyprus to Gaza.

It has not been confirmed that Cyprus has offered the use of airports or military bases to Israel. The island nation has previously allowed Israel to use its airspace during military exercises, but not in ongoing conflicts.
