The Democratic politician is the majority leader in the US Senate. On the occasion of the celebration of Father's Day in the United States, the 73-year-old man posted what appeared to be a photo of a comfortable celebration with the family.

“Our family has lived in an apartment complex for years, but my daughter and his wife just bought a house with a garden — so we're grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for the first time. Father's Day in heaven!”, a seemingly satisfied Schumer wrote in the post on X.

The burger came close to the seams before the comments section.

According to the right-wing tabloid New York Post People spared no effort when commenting on Schumer's grilling skills.

“Maybe you should fry the burger a little longer,” Chuck wrote one person, according to the newspaper.

Republican politician Matt Whitlock He was also provoked by Schumer's grilling technique.

The 73-year-old Democrat has since deleted the post, which was replaced with a standard Father's Day greeting.

This – not surprisingly – did not stop a number of X users from harassing the politician.

Under the new post, Schumer is now filled with photos of her original post. It seems that a number of critical voices strongly dislike Democrats in the United States.

However, according to the New York Post, some users defended Schumer.

Chuck Schumer is smarter than me. Today, grease on the grill caught fire and ruined my Father's Day meal, one user wrote according to the newspaper.
