After the first half closed, and let's say it was a little inconsistent with the flow of the game, Sporting scored again. The score remained 2-0 until the 54th minute, when Ana Borges was subjected to an ugly challenge on her opponent and the referee pointed to the eleven-meter mark. Carol Costa did not flinch and reduced the score for the Reds.
But the meeting number ended up appearing fifteen minutes after the end. Olivia Smith had the time and space to create a true work of art, with an excellent first-time shot into the net.
With this result, Sporting raised its score to 45 points, in second place in the women's league, and two points behind leaders Benfica at the end of the 19th round.
