The French businessman is the leader and the only European in the list of the 5 richest men in the world.

LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault has once again been crowned the richest person in the world, with a net worth estimated at $197 billion, according to The Economista. Arnault is the only European in the list of the 5 richest people.

In addition to the French billionaire, the American businessman and former Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, has a net worth of $196 billion.

Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and owner of the social network X, ranks third with a fortune estimated at $189 billion. The businessman's shares were affected after sales in China recorded a decline.

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is the most successful person in 2024, having already amassed $50 billion in profits. Zuckerberg's fortune is estimated at $178 billion.

Fifth place is occupied by Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, with a fortune estimated at $148 billion. The emergence of artificial intelligence has put the company at the top, and with its good work, the company has the largest market value of $2.987 billion.
