Malia Obama, 25, became known to most people when she appeared with the rest of the family as an 11-year-old when her father, Barack Obama, 62, became President of the United States in 2009. The family lived for eight years in the White House while Her father is president.

On Thursday evening, the annual Sundance Film Festival kicked off, and it was there that the 25-year-old stunned with his first red carpet appearance — as a filmmaker. He writes TMZ.

Malia was wearing a light blue shirt, gray coat, black pants, and brown shoes. She appeared in the premiere of her new short film, “Heart,” which she wrote and directed under the name Malia Ann.
Anne is the former president's daughter's middle name, which she may have named after her grandmother, Anne Dunham.
