According to Daniel Oliveira, the channel's director, the program will provide extensive coverage of the election campaign.

During the 2022 legislative campaign, Ricardo Araujo Pereira was a regular presence on Portuguese television, thanks to the program “Isto é Gozar com Quem Trabalha”. Starting January 7 (Sunday), at 9:45 p.m., the comedian will repeat the recording, this time to prepare the Portuguese for the March 10 elections.

Although it has not been confirmed yet, it is almost certain that the broadcaster will host different politicians and party leaders on the SIC programme. According to Daniel Oliveira, the channel's program director, the broadcast will be daily during the election campaign.

Last year, many leaders and MPs experienced the “this makes fun of those who work” theme. Rui Río (PSD), Inés Souza Real (PAN), João Cotrim de Figueiredo (Liberal Initiative), Francisco Rodriguez dos Santos (CDS-PP), António Costa (PS), Catarina Martins (BE), Vitorino Silva (RiR) and Ruy Tavares (Liver) was among the names who spoke somewhat comfortably with Ricardo Araujo Pereira.

However, there is one party leader who still has not received the famous invitation: Andrei Ventura, from Chiga. This deliberate exclusion caused the program to be the subject of a complaint with the Social Communications Regulatory Authority. The entity explained, following the operation, that it demands that the channel compensate the political leaders who are not included for “the imbalances that occur in a particular program in terms of equal opportunities and dealing with the differences in candidates.” Now, it is not yet known whether Andre Ventura will be in the eighth season of the project. But this remains unlikely.
