The trend towards larger screens appears to continue with the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, and according to information provided by MacRumors, Apple is expected to offer 6.27-inch and 6.86-inch screens for the Pro and Pro Max phones, respectively. This indicates a more immersive visual experience, ideal for users who prefer a large screen.
Not only will the screens be bigger, but so will the batteries. The battery capacity of the new Pro and Pro Max models should be 3,374 mAh and 4,522 mAh, respectively. These larger batteries, coupled with a potential improvement in power efficiency, could mean a significant increase in battery life.
Hardware and software innovations
Apple isn't just concerned with displays and batteries. Rumors indicate a big jump in performance with the introduction of the A17 Pro Hexa Core processor. This, combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage options, puts the new iPhones at the forefront of mobile performance.
When it comes to software, there are speculations about improvements to the microphone for a better experience with artificial intelligence. This could translate into better voice recognition and more fluid interaction with Siri, Apple's virtual assistant.
High performance cameras
Cameras are another area where we expect to see improvements. The new iPhones may be equipped with a set of three rear cameras (48+13+13 megapixels) and a 12-megapixel front camera.
This suggests that Apple is investing heavily in photo and video quality, and remains competitive in a market where smartphone cameras are becoming increasingly prominent.
