ASUS ZenFone 8 has already received updates and there’s good news!

ASUS has already introduced the new ZenFone 8 to the world, and most similar to its predecessors is the ASUS ZenFone 8 that maintains the same rotating camera that was present in the ZenFone 6 and 7. This is instead of having a selfie camera. In addition, we have the standard version of this equipment. We can say it has a more traditional approach, especially with the selfie camera housed in a hole in the screen and a more natural rear configuration. Now, my ASUS ZenFone 8 has just received the first updates!

ASUS ZenFone 8 has already received updates and there’s good news!

Before the smartphone launch, our devices were upgraded to WW 30.10.46.64 (ZF8) and WW 30.10.39.62 (ZF8 Flip) versions. These were the first releases to arrive and on the ZenTalk forum there was some news talk. But they weren’t the only ones, we also got 2 more updates, but no documentation yet. I’m talking about the WW 30.11.51.41 versions in the case of ZenFone 8 and WW 30.11.55.37 in the case of ZenFone 8 Flip.

With or without the changelog, there are two things that can be noticed immediately after an update. Priority mode has been added to the settings menu. Now it allows to identify the special contacts that bypass the silence function of the equipment and make it ring at any time. This to me is a great novelty because it can be very helpful when we really have to take a call and realize that we are receiving it, whatever the circumstances.

Additionally, another novelty is the addition of a search bar in the Force Dark Mode section. This is possible in apps that don’t usually support it. So finding what you’re looking for isn’t complicated, the search bar quickly finds the name of the app instead of having to search for it in a list.

But then let’s summarize what is known. Improvements in system stability and performance improvements as well as in the camera. This is something we all always want. Meanwhile, priority setting and the possibility of enforcing the dark mode as mentioned in XDA.
