Benfica goalkeeper thanks the coaches and employees of the Ukrainian club
Now that Anatoly Trubin has integrated into the ranks of the Ukrainian national team, he has not forgotten who he played with at the only club he represented before joining Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk. The Reds goalkeeper sent gifts to Mineros’ employees and collaborators, Sport.24tv revealed.
This source states that Trupin sent T-shirts and watches bearing their initials and the phrase “Hard Work Pays Off,” as a way to thank them for their help and how they contributed to their training.
Tropin spent 16 years at Shakhtar, playing 94 matches for the first team. Last summer, he was contracted by Benfica for 10 million fixed euros, plus 1 million variables. For the Reds, Vlachodimos’ successor played 12 matches.
Gift giving by players has been frequent. For example, Lionel Messi, after winning the World Cup in Qatar, presented a gold-plated iPhone 14 Pro to players and coaches of the Argentine national team, including Benfica fans Otamendi and Di Maria.
Kevin De Bruyne, after the historic treble achieved by Manchester City last season (Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup), presented his teammates with iPhones decorated in platinum.
