OpenAI extends the capabilities of ChatGPT through file uploading

OpenAI is significantly improving the functionality provided by ChatGPT, and has recently unveiled more new features, which will improve users’ experience with the AI tool.

Users with a ChatGPT Plus subscription will soon be able to access new features on the platform, including the ability to submit documents to the system. This new functionality allows users to submit documents to ChatGPT systems, such as Word or PDF documents, to be analyzed by the company’s AI.

The content can be analyzed, and based on it users can send their questions or perform specific tasks. For example, it is possible to send a PDF document and ask ChatGPT to summarize what is in it.

This functionality is not limited to text files only. Users can also submit images, Excel sheets, and other types of data they want the OpenAI platform to analyze, thus opening up a host of new possibilities.

This new feature is supposed to be available to all users who have a ChatGPT Plus subscription, and companies are gradually making it available – it may take a few days for it to reach all accounts.
