Published by Spike Chunsoft and developed by Too Kyo Games, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code It is an investigative adventure game released on June 30 for Switch. The title has just been updated to version 1.3.2, bringing some improvements to the overall gameplay experience to the hybrid console.
Check below translation of the patch notes released by Spike Chunsoft:
– Added skip function for “discount discount” (the ability to skip the last part of the review of all the information of the investigated case in the game).
– Minor adjustments to text and audio.
– Modifications to certain maps and characters.
– Modifications to certain events.
– Small bug fixes.
* Latest DLC update required.
The noir-style detective game is clearly inspired by Danganronpa, and it’s no wonder the title shares much of the same creative team as Spike Chunsoft’s other popular franchise. Game development company Too Kyo Games was founded by Danganropa creator Kazutaka Kodaka, lead animator Rui Komatsuzaki, and music composer Masafumi Takada.
