The Secretary of State for Technology, Science and Higher Education, Claudio Furtado, attended the June festivities in Montero on Friday night, representing Governor Joao Azevedo on the occasion, at the personal invitation of Mayor Ana Lorena.
The secretary gave an interview, and stated that the state would invest heavily at the request of the director, and with the design of the governor, in technology and innovation, focusing on professional fields in the region such as Renaissance, lace, and goat breeding.
The Secretary highlighted Mayor Anna Lorena’s commitment and investments in education and innovations in a dynamic way and confirmed that the Governor is focused on meeting the Director’s various requests, including some that were discussed during this courtesy visit.
Minister Claudio stated that the measures will be announced soon and that not only his portfolio, but the entire structure of the state government is available for the development of Montero and Carrere.
