Kenan Kuczak believes the midfielder will develop further under Roger Schmidt
“First of all, I would like to congratulate Benfica on this transfer. Orkun Koksu is a very intelligent player who will be an asset to any team in the world. He is very technical and has a great sense of space. He is very good at passing and strong in duels. It was no coincidence that he was Captain of Feyenoord,” recalls assistant Stefan Kuntz, who noted the importance of the player for the Turks: “For our team, he is indispensable. Kuczak points to the 22-year-old midfielder’s excellent journey in the Netherlands, so it’s no surprise that he has had offers from other leagues such as the Premier League. Despite the praise for the Eagles’ strengthening, the Turkey assistant refuses to compare the player with Enzo Fernandes, who left the Eagles for Chelsea in January: “It’s hard to make comparisons. I’m sure Kokcu will become a better player under Roger Schmidt’s guidance.”
