DrAfter opening the first dealerships in Portugal, there is already a BYD car in circulation here. The first model sold was the BYD Han, which was handed over last Tuesday at the Caetano TEC showroom in Vila Nova de Gaia.
This is the best-in-class car from the Chinese manufacturer, and it was awarded the iF Design award. Available in a single version, the BYD Han offers high performance in all-wheel drive driving, thanks to its aerodynamic drag coefficient of only 0.233 cd, which contributes to its autonomy up to 662 km in the urban cycle (WLTP).
Equipped with two electric motors, all-wheel drive, BYD Han delivers a combined power of 380 kW / 517 hp, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Vitor Martins, first owner of BYD bought in Portugal, said that he “already knows the brand through the Internet, as a result of the various researches” he has done on electric cars, even before they are sold in our country.
“I loved cars. BYD has cars of great quality, excellent design, and very well-equipped. When selecting Han, the design factor was crucial. It’s a car with unparalleled interior design, with a lot of quality and distinction. I’m never tired of saying it’s designed.” Incredibly. I liked the car and the prompt delivery factor was an important factor”, stated Vitor Martins.
In addition to BYD Han, the range of the Chinese brand is complemented by the dynamic BYD Atto 3 and Tang, the seven-seater SUV with all-wheel drive.
