There will be a service on Saturday, May 6, including flu shots for priority groups
The City of Catanduva, through the Ministry of Health, will promote on Saturday 6 May the municipal campaign to update the vaccination brochures. The event is aimed at children and adolescents from 0 to 14 years old. The goal is to update vaccinations according to the routine schedule, with all prescribed doses available for each age group.
Influenza vaccine doses will also be given to priority groups: children aged 6 months to 5 years 11 months and 29 days, pregnant and postpartum women, health workers, people with permanent disabilities, public transport and road workers, security and rescue forces, and people who Chronic diseases and the elderly.
There will also be immunization against Covid-19 from the first to the fourth dose depending on which groups are eligible. Pfizer Bivalent will be available as a booster to all persons over the age of 18 and to immunosuppressed adolescents over the age of 12 (on prescription). Children’s and adolescent books and influenza vaccination will be updated from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Centro de Especialidades Médicas – CEM, former Postão, and in all neighborhood health units, except for USFs in Gabriel Hernandes, Jardim Salles and Pachá, which are temporarily closed for renovations.
Vaccination against Covid-19 will be carried out in the CEM and in the health units of Gavioli, Jardim Imperial, Jardim Soto, Parque Glória III and Solo Sagrado, which are stationary service stations for this type of immunization.
