It’s been more than two years since Seagate’s set of Expansion Cards was first made available for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and now we’re about to get a replacement option from a new manufacturer in the near future.
According to the Best Buy listing (which has since been deleted), Western Digital will release the Xbox Series X| S with a capacity of 1 TB for $179.99. That’s just under the $199.99 MSRP for the 1TB version from Seagate.

There is currently no information regarding the release date for this WD_BLACKC50 Expansion Card for Xbox Series X | S, and we don’t know if it will also be available in 512GB and 2TB form factors like the Seagate options. Once we know more, we’ll let you know!
