Club Vitoria is preparing, these days, for its visit to the stronghold of Benfica, the championship leader, and this Tuesday, coach Moreno had three important novelties, and weight loss, in Victorian training.
Starting with the good news of the group course from Guimarães, Moreno can already count on the trio composed of Bruno Gaspar, Hélder Sá and Celton Biai. In the latter case, the 22-year-old goalkeeper has increased the range of options for the team’s goal, after 19-year-old Rafa Oliveira has been in the starting line-up for the last two matches.
On the other hand, the Italian central defender Ibrahima Bamba will miss the match against Benfica, after he was injured in the match against Aruca and a muscle injury in the back of his left thigh, which prevented him from training on Monday and Tuesday.
Bamba is joined by Asma Bruno Varela, who is still suffering from a muscle injury, Jorge Fernandez, recovering from surgery on his right adductor, and fullback/midfielder Zé Carlos, conditioned with an injury to his right foot, all in the VMR.
The sixth Benfica and Vitoria match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18th at 6 pm at the Estadio da Luz.
