The programs of NRK “Lotto”, which are broadcast every Saturday, have several thousand loyal viewers. It’s probably not so strange, you can become a millionaire on an ordinary Saturday night.
Expires after three years
It was recently decided that NRK and Norsk Tipping would make significant changes to their Hamar lottery broadcasts.
Dagbladet can now detect what kind of changes are involved.

Ingeborg Myhre, 48, has hosted the popular radio show twice a week for the past 13 years. Reidar Buskenes (43 years old) has been with broadcasting for 15 years.
I love the job and I love communicating with viewers and listeners. It is not uncommon for me to be stopped on the street and asked funny questions about whether I can help with betting, numbers and prizes. It’s a fun part of TV work, Boskins told Dagbladet in January at the latest.
Now, on the other hand, there is a pause for the two presenters, both of whom are broke. As far as Dagbladet has learned, they should have been notified some time ago, but not specifically about the consequences changes to lottery broadcasts might have.
It must have been a big surprise for the popular presenters when the bomb went off – and after the summer they were out of work.
Lotto-Reidar reveals a new life
As for Myhre, she will lose her job at NRK already in May, while Buskenes will have to leave the table in August. It is part of a larger broadcast renewal.

Ingeborg Myhre confirms the news to Dagbladet. She received the letter about a month ago. This is the first time she has been fired.
– Yes, they are going to renew Lotto, and then I was not part of that renewal. It feels a little sad and strange. I’ve been there for 13 years. But it was time to find something new, and it’s actually something I’ve been thinking about for about a year. I got the kick in the ass I needed.

– How did you get that news?
– I was very surprised, I must say. It is very sad that I have no place in the renovation, but things are going well, although it would have been nice to decide for myself when to leave, as you say.
Dagbladet was also in contact with Buskenes, who confirmed that he had finished as presenter.
– It is true that I lost my TV job, and I must confess that I was surprised and disappointed. The timing of the changes is, of course, boring for me because I’m going to be a dad in the summer, but then again, when one door closes, the other opens. Now I roll up my sleeves and look bright toward the future, he says, adding:
– I would also like to note that I am very grateful for all the wonderful years with my wonderful colleagues at Hamar. Then we will broadcast good “lotto” programs together for the remaining months.
Who will take over as bidder will be decided beginning in the summer.
It is the production company Fabelaktiv that produces the broadcast, which gave the Lotto celebrities the shock message.
NRK has been broadcasting the lottery since 1987.
