BCP PSI orders for longest winning streak since 2013 – Bolsa

This Thursday, PSI continued the 100% positive start in 2023 and added a ninth consecutive green session, something unheard of since October 2013. The PSI advanced 1.21% to 6,041.64 points, the highest level in four months.

Of the 15 listed on the national index, 12 closed higher and three closed in the red. BCP led the gains, rising 5.03% to €0.1858, the highest value since June.

“Give gas” to the index also EDP, an increase of 1.95%, to 4.924 euros, and Galeb, which rose 1.71%, to 12.815 euros. Still in energy, EDP Renováveis ​​rose 0.93%, to €21.77, while Greenvolt and REN rose 0.77% and 0.59%, respectively.

Barring a further rise in the PSI, Jerónimo Martins, the index’s heaviest weight, fell by 1.22%, closing at €21.12. Pingo Doce owner released preliminary sales data for 2022 this afternoon, with Bloomberg analysts expecting a decline in profit margins for the company led by Pedro Soares dos Santos.

CTT and Corticeira Amorim fell by 0.62% and 0.23%, respectively, other listed companies that ended the day in the red.

In the paper sector, Altri rose 1.89% – the third highest gain of the day – to 5.025 euros, while Navigator rose 0.12% to close at 3.47 euros.
