The dust has barely settled Prince and Duchess Meghan’s (41) Netflix documentary, ‘Harry & Meghan’, in two installments in December. The documentary series quickly became a favorite with viewers and grabbed a number of headlines around the world.
– I’m done with them
Next week comes Harry’s “Backup,” which will likely cause just as much fanfare. It is expected that the prince will not back down from his relationship with the British royal family.
On Monday, the first sneak peek of the ITV interview was released, and in the short clip he could look like his father, King Charles (74)and his brother, Prince William (40)will become the main topics of conversation.
Sky News Among the media that mentioned the clip.
– I want my father back
Since Harry and Meghan left the royal house and Britain nearly three years ago, there has appeared to be an icy front between the former and the rest of the family – with William and Charles leading the way.
In the interview clip, where you can’t hear the questions being asked, only Harry’s answers, he says the family has shown no will for reconciliation whatsoever.
Skipping Christmas with the family
– It shouldn’t have been like this. (…) I want a family, not an institution, among what he says.
The prince and his wife have referred to the royal house as “the institution” several times.
– They feel it’s best to keep us as villains, one way or another, he continues with what appears to be a reference to the royal family.
– I want my father back. I want my brother back.
– It would be treason
Also CBS News They released a clip of their upcoming interview. There you can see the prince confront why he chose to wash his dirty clothes in public.
– Every time I tried to do this in private, there were briefings, leaks, and planting stories against me and my wife, the prince claims.
– The family motto is “Never Complain, Never Explain” – but that’s just a motto.
Harry also claims that Buckingham Palace “feeds” reporters information about the articles, and that at the bottom of the article it says “We have attempted to contact Buckingham Palace for comment.”
Beats Queen Elizabeth
– But the whole story is comments from Buckingham Palace. So when we’ve been told for the past six years that they can’t make a statement to protect us, but they do for other family members — at some point silence becomes betrayal, Harry says in the interview.
