In a post on the official Blizzard blog, Myke Ybarra, the company’s president, revealed numbers for 2022 and details on what’s coming in 2023 and beyond. WoW’s Dragonflight expansion, Lich King Classic, and Diablo II: Resurrected are highlighted.
“Almost 12 billion hours have been played on Blizzard games this year,” Ybarra revealed. However, one of the most important details was reserved for the company’s future new title.
As noted by Dan Hay, director of the new title emphasized as a survival game, the team responsible for the first new game since Overwatch in 2016 has doubled in size and will grow even larger in 2023.
