The participants were divided into two groups: one group adopted intermittent fasting for three months, while the other did not make any changes to their eating routine. After this period, about 90% of the volunteers who changed their diet reduced the use of medications for diabetes. Of these, 47.2% (17 of 36 subjects) recovered from type 2 diabetes.

Warning signs can go unnoticed in type 2 diabetes, the most common type of diabetes that appears when the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin or the body does not use it properly.
