The Lisbon Stock Exchange ended the penultimate session of the week in negative territory, in line with Europe – where the dominant color was also red.

The National Field thus closed the third consecutive session of losses that had not occurred since October 12th.

The PSI ended the day down by 0.93%, at 5,745.57 points. Of the 15 listed companies that make up the main national index, only three of them ended the session higher. Navigator led the losses, falling 4.72% to €3.67, again the lows of November 21st. The movement takes place on the same day that the papermaker’s securities entered an ex-dividend – that is, they are no longer entitled to the extraordinary gross pay of 21.091 cents per share, which will be distributed as of next December 12th.

Still among the papermakers, Semapa lost 0.58% to €13.70, while Altri lost its value by 1.03% to €5.31.

In the energy sector, sentiment was mixed: Greenvolt led the gains, rising 1.12% to €8.15, along with Galp rising 0.26% to €11.67, on a day when oil trading in the international market was marked by volatile gains and losses. REN shares fell 0.19% to 2.56 euros.
