German Murder Mystery – He was found floating in a plastic bag

On May 19, a German boat driver made a shocking discovery in the Danube near the German city of Ingolstadt.

He floated down the river and saw something wrapped in a plastic bag. It would eventually turn out to be a young child, but the corpse was so decomposed that an autopsy was necessary to confirm that it was indeed one.

Six months later, the police still had no answers to the murder mystery, German writes picture. Many tips have led nowhere and still no one knows who the little boy is.

Desperate to find out, prosecutors in Ingolstadt have asked forensic experts to reconstruct the toddler’s face, police wrote in press release.

Based on the boy’s scientific findings, including the shape of the head, they can construct a face that resembles the boy’s actual appearance when he was alive.

He is said to have been between 3 and 7 years old, 110 cm long, and weighed about 15 kilograms. He also had blue eyes and dark blonde to brown hair.

The police are now hoping that, with the help of the public, they can get answers to key questions in the investigation.

Specifically, the police want to reach out to anyone who knows the boy and can provide information about his identity and anyone who remembers a boy who fits the description and hasn’t seen him since early 2022.

In addition, the police want information on a rock that was used to hold the boy underwater. The paving stone should be 40 x 20 cm.

German police are also offering €10,000 (about NOK 105,000) to anyone who can provide information that could lead to solving the case.
