FdC 22 shows the world the Ceará way of practicing science and innovation. This is how she enchanted 7-year-old student Esther Filho. She chose the position of the Museum of Image and Sound of Ceará (MIS) as her favourite. “It’s my first time at the fair, and I’m very happy. For those who love science, the fair is heaven,” said Esther, who was accompanied by her mother, teacher Alison Raquel Villaho.

In addition to the MIS, the FdC also owns the Bojogá Museum, the Paleontological Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Mangrove Museum, and the Writing Museum.

The plazas are open to the present and the future, and are also spaces that attract visitors. In the Knowledge Arena, for example, it will be possible to conduct up to three simultaneous lectures, with national names and great specialists.

The health area is at FdC 22, with the focus on the Elmo Gallery in the Escola de Saúde Pública do Ceará Pavilion. The helmet breathing aid is designed to treat people with mild or moderate COVID-19. It is the result of the association of the State of Ceará with the institutes of science and technology, universities, and the industrial and commercial sectors.

When she learned that Elmo is an entirely Ceará innovation, after more than 40,000 people have used it, student Luana Vitória Oliveira, 17, did not hide her pride. “I want to go to college in the health field. For me, it is necessary to know a creature like Elmo, which shows how the people of Ciara know how to major in science. Elmo has been instrumental in the epidemic. It shows that all the people of the Northeast know and can do by science. It is important to say so,” he wrote.
