Hand symptoms that may indicate infection with the Covid-19 virus

A new study published in PLoS Global Public Health reveals that there are hand symptoms that could be a sign of an infection. The problem is that it is very common in cold times. We are talking about swollen fingers.

The research showed that 45% of individuals who had respiratory symptoms similar to those of Covid-19 had this type of rash. There have been reports of these symptoms in the study conducted in the United States, but also in Europe.

An increase in chilblains was detected when Covid-19 cases were higher. Turns out, low temperatures aren’t the only reason for these eruptions to increase.

It can occur in the hands, but also in the foot area. Swollen fingers are often associated with cold weather. This research concluded that there is a link between cases of Covid-19 and skin rashes.
