Fuel is one of the biggest budget expenditures. Prices are very high and have gone up again in the last week. If price hikes usually only happen on Mondays, this week will be different.

On Monday, fuel prices rose between 10 and 14 cents a liter. A day later, they went up again.

According to the information, although there is no rule specifying the fuel rise on Monday, in Portugal there are usually big differences at the beginning of the week.  This week, it is not so, reveals the Porto Channel.
In just 24 hours, the price of a simple diesel rose another 3.6 cents a liter, with an average selling price of 1,892 euros a liter.  Compared to Monday last week, the price of simple diesel is up 14 cents a liter.  The price of private diesel nearly rose, 14.1 cents per liter in nine days, after another rise of 1.9 cents per liter from Monday to Tuesday.
According to the publication, simple gasoline 95 rose 2.4 cents per liter from Monday to Tuesday, and gasoline 98 also rose 2.5 cents per liter in 24 hours.  In total, compared to Monday last week, gasoline is up by about 15 cents a liter.
