Canadian studios Ironwood Studios recently introduced their works Pacific Drive.
It is a survival game where the player can rely only on himself and his car. Come see more…
Ironwood Studios recently revealed the project they are currently working on, Pacific Drive.
Ironwood Studios was founded in 2019 and is made up of some very experienced players in video games, coming from studios such as Sucker Punch Productions, Insomniac Games, Irrational, Klei, 343, Bungie, Activision and Oculus.
Pacific Drive is a survival game that mixes the elements of driving and amazing escape and has players drive like crazy to escape a bunch of inexplicable anomalies. Most of the game will take place behind the wheel of our car.
In fact, the players' car is the main protagonist of Pacific Drive, being the loyal companion responsible for our survival or not.
At Pacific Drive, our base of operations is an abandoned garage, where we can operate our vehicle to our liking. Whether making the necessary repairs so you can move us safely, making upgrades that give it more and more possibilities, or just customizing it.
What is happening outside (in the area), which is not fully disclosed, is dangerous, and therefore, our vehicle must be properly equipped for our small incursions into the area.
Pacific Drive takes place on the west coast of the United States, so the main environment that we will see in the game is the dense forests of that part of the country. And it is precisely in these forests that we will have mysterious encounters with anomalies that have suddenly appeared, and we will find out what is really happening.
A final word on the fact that the original soundtrack was written by Wilbert Roget II, as well as tracks by local bands from the Northwest.
"We're big fans of the world's strangest sciences, and we like wild travel stories and the like. This way we always feel interested and interested in the mysterious worlds of games like STALKER or books like Annihilation. At Pacific Drive, we have the opportunity to combine these sentiments of our own by creating an adventure in the heart of the American Northwest that blends science fiction, adventure, and mystery.says Alex Dracotte, founder of Ironwood Studios.
"The Ironwood team works with passion to turn these ideas into the best game possible. After 3 years in the business, being so excited to share Pacific Drive and so excited to be working with Playstation on this."
Pacific Drive will be released in 2023 for PC and Playstation 5.
