Anitta became the topic of the moment on social media due to a new controversy. The Brazilian singer publicly rebelled against the organization of the rock festival in Rio, causing an uproar over her harsh accusations.
The latest edition of Rock in Rio Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro, ended last Sunday, the date Anitta had been eagerly awaiting to voice her criticism.
“I don’t make mistakes [o palco] In this festival never again”, confirmed the singer via the social network Twitter, where she was outraged by the fact that Brazilian artists, in her opinion, are not treated at the event in the same way as foreigners.
“If one day they decide to give Portuguese-speaking artists the same respect that they give foreigners. Ask the bravest of people how they are treated from Brazil and how those from abroad are treated. [nos] They were doing a great service,” he complains, even going so far as to accuse the festival production of “humiliating” national singers.
“Putting people out there and people who would be humble in any of their circumstances to make everything fit for foreigners. I did my part and am glad they have to swallow a funk after all. I just waited for the last day to speak because I knew there was still a lot to come,” still One can read in his shares.
Anita also justified the fact that this year, in 2022, she participated in the version of Rock in Rio Portugal, in Lisbon: “I only went to RIR in Portugal because I know the Portuguese have been waiting for a long time and I would be upset if I didn’t go“.
Anita’s statements were immediately associated with the scene of Lyudmila, with whom she disagreed in 2020, at this event. However, the artist took care to ensure that he would “never send indirect messages to any fank”.
“And for those who say I’m upset with so-and-so’s show [Ludmilla]. Regardless of my personal issues, my professional opinion is that she should have been put in the right place for her success…on the world stage. So this has to do with a much deeper hole.”
“Funk existed only because it had to swallow up the festival…and I know all too well how. The world stage (what words again?) wasn’t ‘star quality,'” he asserted, recalling the organization’s alleged justification for 2022 that the funk artist was not placed in the most important stage of the festival.
Despite the indignation, the award-winning Brazilian artist is convinced that after her statements, there will be another artist than Funk singing next year on the world rock stage in Rio.
Anitta performed in 2019 at the Mundo do Rock Theater in Rio Brazil and in 2018 and 2022 at the event version in Lisbon.
