On Monday, ERSE (Energy Services Regulatory Authority) published the “Weekly Report on Supervision of Sales Pricing to the Public of Simple 95 Gasoline and Simple Diesel”, with data for the weeks between July 25 and 31, 2022.
The specific values for the week under analysis are: 1954 EUR / liter for regular 95 gasoline and 1919 EUR / liter for regular diesel.
The tax on petroleum products (ISP) for July and August was published in Ordinance No. 167-D / 2022 of July 1, representing 0.31606€/l and 0.16280€/l for simple gasoline and simple diesel, respectively. The ISP applied to 95 simple gasoline and simple diesel is unchanged from last week’s value;
Decree No. 21.1 cents for a liter of gasoline and 18 cents for a diesel.
For the week of July 25-31, the effective price before taxes is €1,132/liter for regular 95 petrol and €1,227/liter for regular diesel. After taxes, the effective price is €1954/liter and €1919/liter for regular 95 petrol and regular diesel, respectively.
The effective price is the average weekly rate set by the Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE) and is determined by the sum of the following components: fuel prices in the international reference markets, relevant ocean freight and core logistics, including in this segment retains the strategic and safety aspects of the national petroleum system Additional costs with the integration of biofuels and the retail component plus related taxes.
The effective price recorded an update, compared to last week, by -1.8% for gasoline and -0.1% for diesel, taking into account the weekly variation in international prices for simple 95 gasoline at -3, 2% and for simple diesel through – 0.2%.
Regarding the previous week, it was found that the average sales prices to the public advertised on the portals, which were reported in Balcão Único da Energia, were 2.0 cents / liter above the effective price for that week, in the case 95 simple gasoline and 6.1 cents / liter above In the case of simple diesel. In percentage terms, 95 simple gasoline was declared on the bridges at 1.0% above the effective price and the simple diesel was declared 3.1% above the effective price;
With regard to discount prices, published by DGEG, simple gasoline 95 showed a deviation of – 1.6% compared to the effective and simple diesel – 0.6%. In absolute numbers, these estimates are for the simple gasoline 95 at 3.3 cents/l, and for the simple diesel at 1.2 cents/l below effective prices;
