Putin claims he was assassinated

The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kirillo Budanov, told the Ukrainian newspaper Pravda, that there were attempts to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Sky News.

Budanov is said to have stated that the assassination attempt took place after the Kremlin invasion in February.

He also claims that Putin was attacked by representatives of the Caucasus region, but no evidence was presented.

The opposition has not yet commented on this claim.
