Twelfth National Training Conference “Youth, Sports and Mountains” organized in Predazzo
Great mass success of the twelfth edition of the National Training Conference “Youth, Sports and Mountain”, organized today in Predazzo, at the Alpine School of Guardia di Finanza, by the Fiamme Gialle Ski Group in collaboration with the Trentino CONI Sports School and, scientifically speaking, with Center for Research in Sports, Mountains and Health in Rovereto.
The event, dedicated this year to the theme “Altitude Training: Science and Practice”, was attended by more than 300 people, including coaches, athletic directors, university students and researchers, along with many professional athletes and enthusiasts of simple sports, particularly in winter.
After kicking off 2021 online, this year’s symposium returns in a classic face-to-face format, as usual, with a team of top-notch speakers and moderators, starting with Rosanna Chiveti, Principal of CONI Sports School. , and Federico Schena, Director of CeRiSM and always the scientific spirit of the conference. After greetings from the authorities, the conference began to unfold over three morning sessions, devoted primarily to physiological limits, development, influences, workloads, nutrition, and awareness of altitude training fatigue (with special emphasis on youth level training), while it held Participatory roundtable in the afternoon on the topic “High Training in Endurance Sports: Comparing Experiences” where the audience also participated in ideas, questions and exhibitions on interdisciplinary experiences.
So the symposium presented several reports on altitude training issues, starting with a stimulating journey that took off from the latest scientific knowledge, and then set off straight to the training centers and slopes at the highest altitudes, exciting and providing useful information. for professionals.
Today’s event is part of a wide range of projects, through which the sports groups “Fiamme Gialle” are committed not only to the practice of high-level sports but through events such as these, also to contribute to the dissemination of a healthy sports culture and increase the commitment of our youth.
